 The TSB & TSH come complete with fastener sets allowing quick and strong installation on metal, aluminum frame glass or wood doors of all types. A stainless steel door cord is supplied with both products to route wiring (I6 ft. cable supplied) off to the door frame. The Touch Sense Bar is offered in three standard door opening widths (36", 42" and 48"). For a nonstandard opening width, the TSB-3 can be easily cut down in the field. The Model TCP accessory bracket aids the retrofit installation of the Touch Bar on aluminum doors by covering up mounting holes used by a Jackson or Dor-o-Matic mechanical bar which may have been previously mounted. The Touch Sense Handle is sized to cover up existing mounting holes used for standard pulls on aluminum doors. It is employed to pull open inswinging doors or as an alternate push-open device for outswinging doors which provides a different look on aluminum frame glass doors. The SP-1 includes an internal timer so that a brief touch will operate the unit for up to 25 seconds. It features 1 Amp DPST contacts and has a mechanical redundant backup switch for extra reliability. The unit is delivered complete with a brushed stainless steel face plate, surface mount plastic backbox and 16 ft. cable. Surface mounting is necessary for touch sensing as the plate must be isolated from the wall. The unit is oversized so that it can be mounted over a single gang cutout and mounting hole positions allow use of the standard female holes in a single gang cutout. A three part vinyl decal is included to provide the appropriate prompt to the user and a red LED is incorporated in the backbox which illuminates when the unit is touched. For ADA compliant systems, an optional decal with symbol is available (SP-1LH).
