Securitron digital keypads are all designed for high volume use in controlling entry through electrically locked doors. They are simple to use, with programming being possible from the keypad itself. You can select from two keypad types and also have a choice of CPU boards to yield the right combination of cost and features for the requirements of the job. Securitron keypads are not intended for arming alarm systems but rather for the much more demanding use of electric lock control indoors and outdoors. Ease of installation is designed in and the instruction manual guides you to the precise level of programming needed for specific applications.
Keypad only. Specify -P for a replacement or second keypad. Does not include control box.

Expansion Board. Do you need an audit trail or more user capacity? Then the DK series expansion board may be the ideal upgrade to your system. The optional expansion board provides another 60 user codes (for a to-tal of 119 user codes plus the program-ming code and a hard code); serial printer output for a report for a report on who did what and when, an additional program-mable relay to increase the versatility of the system, plus an on-board real time clock and calendar. For multiple door in-stallations, the addition of a buffer box allows multiple expansion boards to re-port to a single printer. Simply add an "XB" to the end of the expansion board part number (DK-26SSXB for waterproof nar-row stile stainless steel; DK-26BKXB for waterproof narrow stile black; DK-16XB for interior single gang). The expansion board may also be ordered separately (DK-XB) to upgrade an existing unit. |
Wiegand Option. The rugged and reliable keypads that are the heart of the DK-26, DK-16 and DK-11 series are also available in versions which output Weigand 2601 data and therefore interface directly with any access control system that accepts this industry standard data protocol. With Securitron's Weigand units, you can easily add keypad controlled entries to an existing or newly installed access control sys-tem or in many cases you can combine a keypad with a card reader to enhance secu-rity by requiring authorized individuals to pos-sess both a card and a PIN code. The Weigand version of the DK-11 (DK-11W) is a one-piece, fully integrated unit. With the DK-26/ 16 keypad, an external board is used to generate the Weigand data stream and it my be purchased individually or together with the associated pad. |

DK-11 THE DK-11 is a one piece unit intended for lower security requirements. It is furnished on a single gang brushed stainless steel plate with retrofit backbox. The keypad provides true 10 digit operation and includes red and green signaling LED’s. The unit runs on 12 or 24 VDC power and control output is via an in-tegral 5 Amp SPDT relay for operating fail safe and fail secure locks. All wiring is to a terminal strip found on the CPU board directly be-hind the plate. While primarily intended for indoor operation, an optional rain cover allows reliable use for exterior areas not ex-posed to direct rain. The pad itself is a U.S. made, high-volume unit with engraved, paint-filled keys.
The DK-11 accepts a program code and 4 user codes from 2 to 7 digits so that different user groups can have their own code. Changing any user code is easily done by entering the program code (5 to 7 digits) first. Lock release time is also programmed from the keypad from 1-99 seconds. Selectable toggle mode energizes the relay when a valid code is en-tered and deenergizes it when a code is en-tered again. The DK-11 also has a REX (re-quest to exit) input. This allows an external remote switch to trigger the unit just as if a code was entered. All codes are stored in non-volatile memory so that they are retained in a power failure. Finally, an alarm function locks out the keypad for 30 seconds after 16 wrong digits have been entered. The DK-11 delivers amazing capability in a compact, in-expensive package.

DK-26 The DK-26 features a fully waterproof design that can mount directly on a narrow stile door frame. For higher security, the DK-26 is delivered in two parts. The keypad surface mounts via hidden screws and the CPU board mounts with steel enclosure in-side the protected area (16 ft. cable furnished). No matter what a vandal may do to the keypad itself (including severing the ca-ble), the door will not open. The keypad is designed for long life under demanding use. It is constructed from cast stainless steel with the switch elements protected under tough EPDM rubber. The DK-26 operates a 5 Amp DPDT relay to switch any type of fail-safe or fail-secure electric lock (or strike). Release time is pro-grammable from 1-99 seconds. A beeper and three LED’s provide feedback during opera-tion and programming. Power for the DK-26 is 12 to 24 volts AC or DC, and typically the same power source is used to operate the lock which makes planning the installation simplicity itself. You can even employ an in-expensive AC transformer to operate a DC lock, as the DK-26 will convert AC to DC and supply it to the lock.
DK-16 DK-16 For indoor applications which require the power and security of the DK-26, but which are more suited to a single gang plate to mount the keypad, the DK-16 combines the pad of the DK-11 with the separate CPU board of the DK-26. Operation is the same as with the DK-26.
