The IXP400 Access Software Suite is Impro's 'Top of the Range' flagship. This product boasts an array of facilities, each with a wealth of features, and is designed to support from the most basic to the most demanding needs where previously only customized application software existed.
IXP 400 is fully ImproNet Compliant.
Uses the advanced Interbase, fully SQL compatible, open architecture client/server database for full integrity of data, and high performance.
Customers are able to directly communicate with the system either via data on the open architecture database, or via the engine. - Applications can send instructions directly to the hardware, inter- relate with the decision making process on the validation of tag requests integrating with customer's software.
The ultimate 'open architecture' system allows an unprecedented degree of end user customization.
Written in the leading edge development tool, Java, the system is ideally poised to exceed tomorrow's demanding needs. Platform-independent Java modules may be run on non-windows platforms (e.g. Linux), potentially saving the customer huge licensing fees.
