The 5000 Series Electric Strike System includes a choice of seven face plate options and four stackable lip extensions. The 5000 Series are designed to simplify the installation procedure and accommodate cylindrical latchbolts up to 1/2" throw. The 5000 low profile electric strikes are specially designed with an internally mounted solenoid for compactness and ease of installation in applications where there is limited space behind the door jamb. This includes narrow style door jambs, jambs with protruding glass inside, jambs filled with hardened concrete and wood jambs. The 5000 electric strikes with the 501 face plate option can be installed in an ANSI metal jamb without removing the dust box. The heavy duty construction of the 5000 series make them ideal for high usage installations.
