A high-decibel piezo horn sounds to warn personnel that an unauthorized exit is occuring. Use of an authorized key in the inside cylinder or in the optional outside lever trim retracts the bolt and shunts the alarm. The ECL-600 may be operated as a "Passage" function by both the inside paddle and the outside lever, if so equipped. FEATURES Rugged, attack-resistant housing with corrosion-resistant alloy lock body-mountable on either left or right side of the door. Proven durability built into a saw-resistant 1" deadbolt in addition to a fire-rated, 13/16" throw, stainless steel deadlocking latchbolt. The deadlocking latchbolt firmly engages a second strike every time the door is closed. Installs on doors using the same footprint as Exit Lock ECL-230D. 3 Hour fire rated for doors up to 8’ X 8’ with F90KR Keyed Removable Mullion and single doors up to 4' X 8'.
